What a week!

What an exciting and fun week this has been!
We have come to the end of the first 6 weeks grading period. All students worked very hard and earned good grades and progress. Pictures were taken of students on Thursday and everyone looked great. I cannot wait to see how beautiful the pictures turn out!
Today (Friday), we participated in a chemistry project with Ms. "Witch" Duello's class. We made witches brew. We learned about observation by my first mixing freeze dried newt eggs and vampire blood, and seperately mixing vampire blood with dried mummy bones. We touched and looked at each mixture through a ziplock bag. After the 1st observations were made, all of the ghoulish ingredients were mixed together and new observations were made. We used our eyes to see the changes in texture and color, our ears to hear the sounds the mixtures were making, and our hands to feel the change of temperature and texture of the mixture.
Mrs. Green and I are looking forward to another exciting week!
